(As reported by the Securities Investment Newspaper) In order to meet the increasing demand for high quality equipment nowadays, on March 16th<\/sup>, 2021, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DCL) held a ground-breaking ceremony to kickoff the construction of the Benovas Medical Supplies Manufacturing Plant that meets European standards.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/div>\n

Benovas Medical Supplies Manufacturing Factory is built on an area of \u200b\u200b10,846.6 square meters on Highway 57 Thanh My 1 Hamlet, Thanh Duc Commune, Long Ho District, Vinh Long Province with a total investment of about 15 million USD. The factory\u2019s construction will be divided into 2 phases, the design capacity of phase 1 is 35 million products \/ month; Phase 2 has a capacity of 20 million products \/ month including: syringes, needles, infusion lines, sword needles, venous needles \u2026 These products are manufactured on modern conveying lines in the direction of automation to meet European CE standards and US FDA standards.<\/p>\n

After coming into operation in the first quarter of 2022, the products of Benovas Medical Supplies Factory not only enhancing the response to the needs of customers, but also afford to provide a large amount of medical equipment \u00a0for Covid-19 Vaccination is being deployed presently. Besides, these products will be exported to Europe and the United States. The revenue of the Benovas Medical Equipment Factory estimated to reach VND 500 billion by 2025.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It is known that DCL\u2019s current production capacity of 140 million medical devices\/year does not fulfil the market\u2019s requirements as also exportation\u2019s.\u00a0\u00a0In addition, the DCL\u2019s construction of a modern medical equipment factory is also in line with the project \u201cDevelop the medical equipment manufacturing industry domestically by 2025 as well as a vision to 2030.\u201d<\/p>\n

The goal of the project is to develop a synchronous and modern manufacturing of medical equipment national-level, meeting international integration, in conformity with the production capacity over strengths and economic & society conditions. Concurrently, stepping up the socialization and mobilize diversified resources in society to develop the domestic medical equipment manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n

Medical equipment factory Benovas perspective<\/em><\/p>\n

DCL is an enterprise with more than 40 years of operation and has a prestigious brand name with consumers, pharmacies and major hospitals in the provinces of Vietnam.<\/p>\n

In 2021, DCL has finalized and put into operation Capsule 4 factory with output of 2.4 billion capsules \/ year, bringing the total volume of capsules produced to nearly 8 billion capsules \/ year.\u00a0\u00a0In 2020, DCL has obtained a visa for 2 types of cancer treatment drugs, which are in high demand in Vietnam in particular and the world in general. This promises to bring in millions of dollars in sales for 2021 and beyond.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In addition, the enterprise continues to promote and perfect the sales model to increase the coverage of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical products to all localities in the country and towards the export of a number of products.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Thereby, in 2021, DCL sets a target of 980 billion dong in revenue, up by 50%, profit before tax to reach 164 billion dong, up 116% compared to 2020.<\/p>\n
