Take the medication with plenty of water. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew it. To achieve long-term healing and prevent ulcer recurrence, it is necessary to completely eradicate <em>H. pylori<\/em> and reduce or stop the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Treatment of reflux esophagitis<\/strong>: The usual dose is 20-40 mg, taken once daily, for 4-8 weeks; then maintenance treatment can be continued with a dose of 20 mg once daily.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Treatment of ulcers<\/strong>: Take 20 mg omeprazole once daily (in severe cases, 40 mg can be used) for 4 weeks for duodenal ulcers and 8 weeks for gastric ulcers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome<\/strong>: Take 60 mg once daily (20-120 mg daily); if a dose higher than 80 mg is used, it should be divided into two doses per day. The dosage should be calculated on a case-by-case basis and treatment can be prolonged as required by the clinical condition. Do not stop the medication abruptly.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Contraindications<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or other components of the medication.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Pregnant women<\/strong>: The medication should not be used in pregnant women, especially during the first trimester.
