To avoid gastrointestinal side effects, take with food or with an antacid.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Contraindications<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Hypersensitivity to any component of the medication; previous skin reactions (regardless of severity) when using Meloxicam, other NSAIDs, and other medications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Patients with a history of severe allergies; specific skin reactions such as generalized erythema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">History of hypersensitivity (bronchospasm, asthma, nasal polyps and Quincke&#8217;s edema or urticaria) to aspirin or another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Active peptic ulcer disease.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Treatment of pain after coronary artery bypass graft surgery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Severe hepatic impairment.
