{"id":20091,"date":"2024-10-03T16:14:24","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T09:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dcl.com.vn\/?post_type=cproduct&#038;p=20091"},"modified":"2026-04-09T14:57:46","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T07:57:46","slug":"drocef-pvc-500","status":"publish","type":"cproduct","link":"https:\/\/dcl.com.vn\/en\/cproduct\/drocef-pvc-500\/","title":{"rendered":"Drocef PVC\u00ae 500"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Indications &amp; Usage<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, but not indicated for the treatment of severe infections:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Respiratory tract infections<\/strong>: Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchopneumonia and lobar pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis, lung abscess, sinusitis, otitis media.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Uncomplicated urinary tract infections<\/strong>: Acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Skin and soft tissue infections<\/strong>: Lymphadenitis, abscess, cellulitis, decubitus ulcers, mastitis, furuncles, erysipelas.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Renal function should be evaluated in patients with or suspected of having renal impairment before using the medication.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Dosage &amp; Administration<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The duration of treatment must be maintained for a minimum of 5-10 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The medication should be taken with food.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Dosage<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Adults and children (over 40 kg)<\/strong>: Take 500-1000 mg\/dose, twice daily, depending on the severity of the infection. Or take 1000 mg\/dose once daily for skin and soft tissue infections and uncomplicated urinary tract infections.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Children (under 6 years)<\/strong>: Cefadroxil 500 mg capsules should not be used; an oral suspension formulation should be used instead.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Hepatic impairment<\/strong>: No dose adjustment is needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Elderly<\/strong>: Renal function should be checked and the dose adjusted as in patients with renal impairment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Renal impairment<\/strong>: Treatment can be started with an initial dose of 500-1000 mg cefadroxil.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Contraindications<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Hypersensitivity to any component of the medication.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Allergy to any cephalosporin.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">History of severe allergy to any beta-lactam.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Storage &amp; Quality<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Storage<\/strong>: Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30\u00b0C, away from light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Shelf Life<\/strong>: 36 months from the manufacturing date.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Quality Standard<\/strong>: Manufacturer&#8217;s Standard<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Treatment of urinary tract and respiratory infections.
