The dose can be increased up to 4g\/day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Children<\/strong>: The usual dose is 25-60 mg\/kg of body weight per 24 hours, divided into 2-3 doses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In cases of severe infection, the maximum dose is 100 mg\/kg of body weight per 24 hours.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Contraindications<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cephalexin should not be used in patients with a history of allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cephalosporins should not be used in patients with a history of anaphylactic shock from penicillin or other serious IgE-mediated reactions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Storage &amp; Quality<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Storage<\/strong>: Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30\u00b0C, away from light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Shelf Life<\/strong>: 36 months from the manufacturing date.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Quality Standard<\/strong>: Manufacturer&#8217;s Standard<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Used to treat infections related to the respiratory tract, ears, nose, and throat.
