{"id":20084,"date":"2024-10-03T14:25:35","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T07:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dcl.com.vn\/?post_type=cproduct&#038;p=20084"},"modified":"2026-04-09T10:32:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T03:32:08","slug":"cefacyl-250","status":"publish","type":"cproduct","link":"https:\/\/dcl.com.vn\/en\/cproduct\/cefacyl-250\/","title":{"rendered":"Cefacyl\u00ae 250"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Indications &amp; Usage<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cephalexin is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, but it is not indicated for the treatment of severe infections.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Respiratory tract infections<\/strong>: Acute and chronic bronchitis and infected bronchiectasis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Ear, nose, and throat infections<\/strong>: Otitis media, mastoiditis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Urinary tract infections<\/strong>: Cystitis and prostatitis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Prophylactic treatment for recurrent urinary tract infections<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Obstetrical and gynecological infections<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Skin, soft tissue, and bone infections<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gonorrhea<\/strong> (when penicillin is not suitable).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Dental infections<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Prophylactic treatment for heart patients undergoing dental procedures in place of penicillin<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Dosage &amp; Administration<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Should be taken before meals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Adults<\/strong>: Oral use. The usual dose for adults is 250-500 mg every 6 hours, depending on the severity of the infection. The dose can be increased up to 4g\/day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Children<\/strong>: The usual dose is 25-60 mg\/kg of body weight per 24 hours, divided into 2-3 doses. In cases of severe infection, the maximum dose is 100 mg\/kg of body weight per 24 hours.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Contraindications<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cephalexin should not be used in patients with a history of allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cephalosporins should not be used in patients with a history of anaphylactic shock from penicillin or other serious IgE-mediated reactions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Storage &amp; Quality<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Storage<\/strong>: Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30\u00b0C, away from light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Shelf Life<\/strong>: 36 months from the manufacturing date.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Quality Standard<\/strong>: Manufacturer&#8217;s Standard.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Used to treat infections related to the respiratory tract, ears, nose, and throat.
