On the occasion of the Launching of the 2020 Action Month for children in Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province, Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company (Vikoda) presented 20 bicycles to needy studious pupils.
On June 1st, the People’s Committee of Dien Khanh district (Khanh Hoa province) organized the launching ceremony of the Action Month for Children in 2020, with the theme “Joining hands to protect children, preventing and combating child abuse” in Dien Hòa commune. The event provided children with knowledge, life skills, self-protection skills, development of models to promote children’s participation such as children’s forums, children’s rights clubs, programs and activities initiated and implemented by children so that they can promote their right to participate and help them feel confident and well perform on their duties.
Every child has the right to a healthy, safe and friendly environment, the interests of the child must be at the top of the decisions regarding the socio-economic development of the country and the community. Together with the desire to join hands for the development of children, Mr. Tran Van Phu – Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company (Vikoda) represented the company to attend the launching and giving ceremony. 20 bicycles for 20 needy and studious pupils in especial hardships of Dien Lac, Binh Loc and Dien Hoa communes with a value of 1.6 million for each bike. These are meaningful and practical gifts, expressing the interest, encouragement & stimulation of the business towards the poor students, imparting to create good conditions for them to carry on going to school, exert themselves to study & train well, becoming good examples for students all over Khanh Hoa province.

Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Linh, grade 9th student from Tran Dai Nghia High School, representing the students receiving the gifts, said: “On behalf of the students who are given a bicycle today, I would like to say thank you to the district leaders, the District Child Support Fund and especially sincerely give thanks to Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company for sponsoring us a meaningful gift. These bikes are not only an useful mean to help us go to school on time but also an encouragement, motivation and gift of from your hearts for the students who are still in distress as us.”
