Recently, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DCL) organized the groundbreaking ceremony for Package No. 5: Construction of the main factory and auxiliary structures – the water supply and drainage system, which is a part of the project: Construction of Benovas Medical Equipment Manufacturing Plant.

The project spans an area of 11,000m2, with a total investment of 373 billion VND, located in the Thanh Duc commune, Long Ho district, Vinh Long province. The project is divided into two phases, and it’s expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2024.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung, Secretary of the Thanh Duc Party Committee, Mr. Le Vinh Xuyen, Thanh Duc Communal Administrative Officer, and representatives from the Vinh Long Department of Transportation and Department of Construction.

“With the aim to enhance our medical equipment manufacturing capabilities with high quality, meeting domestic needs and targeting international markets, DCL decided to invest in the new Benovas plant. Once operational, the plant’s products are expected to meet European standards, FDA’s GMP 510K, and ISO 13485:2016,” Ms. Tran Khiem, Deputy General Director in charge of production, shared.

Based on these criteria, DCL has selected and decided to collaborate with Bach Dang Hai Phong Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company. This firm has extensive experience in managing construction projects, covering civil, industrial, and transportation infrastructure in various provinces and cities nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bach Dang Hai Phong Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company said: “We are honored to be chosen as the general contractor for the Benovas Medical Equipment Manufacturing Plant project. Recognizing this as a pivotal project for Duoc Cuu Long specifically and for Vinh Long province generally, our team at Bach Dang Hai Phong will mobilize our best resources and engineers to meet the rigorous criteria and high standards set by DCL”.

Both parties commit to completing the project on schedule, ensuring the required quality.

The project of building more factories to improve product quality and production systems according to international standards is part of a long-term development strategy to increase DCL’s influence in the domestic market, and at the same time strengthen DCL’s influence in the domestic market. increase the influence of Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry in the world, creating a solid foundation for DCL’s products to integrate into the global pharmaceutical market in the future.
