- Dosage & Administration:
- Should be taken with meals.
- Adults: Take 2 tablets per dose, 2-3 times daily.
- Children 12-18 years: For the symptomatic treatment of dry or irritating cough, Terpin Codein 10 is not recommended for children with respiratory function impairment (refer to Special Warnings and Precautions).
- Children under 12 years: Terpin Codein 10 is contraindicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry or irritating cough due to a high risk of severe and life-threatening adverse reactions.
- Or as directed by a physician.
- Contraindications:
- Breastfeeding women.
- Patients who are ultra-rapid metabolizers of CYP2D6.
- Children under 12 years of age for cough treatment due to a high risk of serious and life-threatening adverse effects.
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components.
- Cough due to asthma.
- Respiratory failure.
- Storage & Quality:
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30°C, away from light.
- Shelf Life: 36 months from the manufacturing date.
