- Dosage & Administration:
- Take the medication immediately after a meal and at least 2 hours before or after using antacids or iron supplements.
- Adults and adolescents (13 years and older):
- Community-acquired pneumonia: 300 mg every 12 hours for 10 days.
- Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, acute sinusitis, pharyngitis/tonsillitis: 300 mg every 12 hours or 600 mg every 24 hours.
- Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections: 300 mg every 12 hours. Divided into 1 or 2 doses for 5-10 days.
- Children 6 months to 12 years:
- Acute otitis media, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, community-acquired pneumonia, chronic bronchitis: 14 mg/kg of body weight daily, up to a maximum of 600 mg/day, for 5-10 days.
- Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections: 7 mg/kg of body weight daily for 10 days.
- Children under 6 months: Not recommended.
- Renal impairment:
- Adults with creatinine clearance <30 ml/min: Use a dose of 300 mg once daily.
- Children with creatinine clearance <30 ml/min/1.73 m²: The cefdinir dose should be 7 mg/kg (up to 300 mg) once daily.
- Hemodialysis patients: Initial dose is 300 mg or 7 mg/kg daily, taken at the end of each hemodialysis session. The next dose (300 mg or 7 mg/kg) is then taken on alternating days.
- Or as directed by a physician.
- Contraindications:
- Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics.

- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30°C, away from light.
- Shelf Life: 36 months from the manufacturing date.
