- Dosage & Administration:
- Should be taken before breakfast or before going to bed at night. Take the medication with plenty of water. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew it. To achieve long-term healing and prevent ulcer recurrence, it is necessary to completely eradicate H. pylori and reduce or stop the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
- Treatment of reflux esophagitis: The usual dose is 20-40 mg, taken once daily, for 4-8 weeks; then maintenance treatment can be continued with a dose of 20 mg once daily.
- Treatment of ulcers: Take 20 mg omeprazole once daily (in severe cases, 40 mg can be used) for 4 weeks for duodenal ulcers and 8 weeks for gastric ulcers.
- Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: Take 60 mg once daily (20-120 mg daily); if a dose higher than 80 mg is used, it should be divided into two doses per day. The dosage should be calculated on a case-by-case basis and treatment can be prolonged as required by the clinical condition. Do not stop the medication abruptly.

- Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or other components of the medication.
- Pregnant women: The medication should not be used in pregnant women, especially during the first trimester. Although experiments have not shown omeprazole to cause fetal malformation or toxicity, it should not be used in pregnant women, especially during the first 3 months.
- Breastfeeding women: The medication should not be used in breastfeeding women.
