Composition: Griseofulvin: 500 mg

Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, wheat starch, povidone K30, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate.

Packaging: Box of 10 blisters x 10 tablets
Indications: Treats fungal infections of the skin, hair, and nails that do not respond to topical treatment; including tinea corporis, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea barbae, tinea capitis, and onychomycosis caused by the following susceptible fungal species: Epidermophyton floccosum; Microsporum audouinii; Microsporum canis; Microsporum gypseum; Trichophyton crateriform; Trichophyton gallinae; Trichophyton interdigitale; Trichophyton megnini; Trichophyton mentagrophytes; Trichophyton rubrum; Trichophyton schoenleini; Trichophyton sulphureum; Trichophyton tonsurans; Trichophyton verrucosum

  • Dosage & Administration:
    • Administration: Oral use. The medication should be taken with or after meals. It can be taken once daily or divided into 2-4 doses.
    • Dosage:
      • Adults: Take 500-1000 mg/day (1-2 tablets/day).
      • Children: This tablet form should not be used.
    • The safety and efficacy in pediatric patients 2 years and younger have not been established. The safety of higher doses than 10 mg/kg per day in pediatric patients older than 2 years has not been established.
    • Duration of treatment: Depends on the infection site:
      • 4 to 8 weeks for tinea pedis.
      • 6 to 8 weeks for tinea capitis.
      • 4 to 12 months for onychomycosis.
  • Contraindications:
    • Patients hypersensitive to any component of the medication.
    • Patients with porphyria metabolic disorder.
    • Severe hepatic impairment.
    • Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or hepatocyte failure.
    • Pregnant and breastfeeding women.
  • Storage & Quality:
    • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30°C, away from light.
    • Shelf Life: 36 months from the manufacturing date.
    • Quality Standard: Manufacturer’s Standard.
