- Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 tablet per dose, every 4-6 hours. Maximum of 6 tablets (24 mg/day).
- Elderly: A lower daily dose should be considered. Maximum of 12 mg/day.
- Children 6-12 years: 1/2 tablet, every 4-6 hours, maximum of 3 tablets (12 mg/day).
- Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
- Administration: Oral use only. The tablet can be broken in half at the score line. Dosage varies depending on the individual’s response and tolerance.

- Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to chlorpheniramine or any component of the medication.
- Over-the-counter cough and cold preparations for children under 2 years of age.
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) increase the anticholinergic potential of chlorpheniramine. Therefore, this medication is not indicated in patients who have been treated with MAOIs within the last 14 days.
